Block Programme

The block programme has been designed with the unique setting of the conference venue in mind, allowing delegates the opportunity to participate in guided game drives in Kruger National Park. These include morning drives departing at approximately 05:30 (~3 hours), sunset drives at around 16:30 (~3 hours), and night drives departing at approximately 20:00 (~3 hours). The programme structure balances scientific sessions with time for these optional activities.

The Welcoming Function will take place on Sunday, 18:30 – 20:00 and  The Gala Dinner  on Wednesday, 18:00 – 21:00.

The programme allocates 30 minutes for invited talks and 15 minutes for contributed talks.

Selected Contributions

The abstracts listed below have been selected by the Scientific Organising Committee (SOC) for presentation at the conference. Invited talks will be allocated 25 + 5 minutes, while contributed talks will be allocated 12 + 3 minutes.

Caveats:

  1. An email will be sent to all delegates to notify them of the acceptance of their abstract.
  2. Based on current sponsorship levels, all delegates who applied for funding will have their registration fee waived. However, they will still be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. If a delegate is unable to attend due to financial constraints, they are encouraged to contact the organisers at info@nsn-knp2026.org.za to be placed on a waiting list (with a revised budget), as additional sponsorship may still become available.
  3. A detailed scientific programme will be released once the organisers have confirmation of registered delegates.
